According to global statistics, tourism is the:

• the BIGGEST employer
• the BIGGEST contributor to local and world GDP

Above this, though, tourism also creates jobs faster than any other industry, while at the same time growing the country’s economy. The World Tourism and Travel Organisation (WTTO) projects that at least one sustainable industry job is created for every eleventh tourist visiting and staying over at least one night at any destination or venue.
